Milk Wasted was created from a special moment between my daughter Ty and I. It was regarding her then baby boy, Amauri. He was fat fat full after a feeding, with his eyes barely able to stay open. His mom then commented, "He's milk wasted", to which we both burst out with laughter. With that, a light bulb came on, and Milk Wasted had to be created. The scent had to be warm, sweet, not go sour on skin and of course, smell like milk. The cinnamon sugar is not a sharp cinnamon note, it's very soft and complementing. I have been told on many occasions that Milk Wasted smells like a milk candy that was enjoyed as a child, not overly sweet and definitely not cloying.

How to use: Our perfumes are very strong and are made fresh. Below are some tips to help you get a better understanding of how our Eau de Parfums work and how to use them.

Pro Tips:

  • Do not rub wrists together after applying as this will diminish the longevity of your perfume.
  • Warm up your skin by taking a hot shower or bath to open your pores and make your skin more receptive to the perfume.
  • Apply a thin layer of unscented or matching Whipped Body Butter, Macadamia Souffle, Satin Body Glace, Unbuttered Opulent Body Oil or Premium Body Jelly to your skin to help the perfume diffuse and last longer. The oiliness will trap in the scent. When you are ready to apply the perfume, you can spritz it onto your moisturized pulse points, such as your neck, wrists, behind your ears, or behind your knees. Spraying is better than rubbing, which can add heat and damage the perfume.
  • After applying the perfume, allow it to settle into your skin for at least 30 minutes. During this time, the fragrance will interact with your skin's natural oils and pH levels, allowing its full character to develop. The initial top notes you smell when you first apply the perfume may change into a different scent as the fragrance dries down. You will not get the full effect of a scent by smelling it from the bottle.
  • Allow perfume to macerate for at least one week, up to four weeks if time allows (or if you have the self-control!). Maceration is important because it:
    • Helps fragrances blend together
    • Allows the fragrance to mature
    • Enhances the fragrance's longevity
  • How to macerate: It's important to store the perfume in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, such as a cabinet or drawer in a bedroom. Avoid storing it in the bathroom, as the hot and humid air is not ideal for perfumes. Over time, the scent will become stronger, the alcohol will become less prominent and the perfume may become slightly darker in color.
